It’s spring, and that means it’s time for fresh flowers. Whether you want them to brighten up your home, or if you’re starting to make Mother’s Day plans, Austin has some great local spots to walk in and pick up a bouquet. Here’s where to start:
🌷 Cassiopeia Farm, 9112 Thaxton Road
Located south of McKinney Falls State Park is Cassiopeia Farm. The farm has a stand open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, where you can buy bouquets for $30-$65, or bunches of fresh flowers for $15-$25. Keep an eye on the farm’s Instagram page for updates on the farmstand as it tends to sell out!
🌼 Cheri Coffee and Flowers, 6726 Burnet Road
Cheri Coffee and Flowers is located in Allandale and offers both flowers and coffee. The shop’s flowers come from nearby farms or are grown by the family who owns the store. Stop by the shop to see which flowers are available!
🌹 Nutty Brown Farm, 13900 Nutty Brown Road
Head out to Nutty Brown Farm near Belterra in Southwest Austin for $20 bouquets. The farm will be open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon starting April 19, selling bouquets, baked goods, candles, and more. You can also visit the farm’s cabin, which operates on an honor system, for bouquets.
💐 Happy spring, y’all!
