College football season is here and you don’t have to be inside Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium to enjoy game days! Here’s some of our favorite spots to catch a game:

🏈 The Posse East, 2900 Duval St.

Looking for a perfect cheeseburger to complement your game day? Look no further than The Posse East. The dive bar, which is right near campus, has watch parties every weekend.

🍺 Haymaker, 2310 Manor Road

Visit Haymaker on Saturdays for $4 wells and game day fun! Watching football on the Haymaker patio is pretty much an Austin rite of passage.

🌭 Uptown Sports Club, 1200 E. 6th St.

Head to Uptown Sports Club for $2 hot dogs with a drink purchase during Longhorn games. Games will be streamed at the restaurant inside and outside, and other drink specials, like a Modelo with Tajín, lime, and sweet drop peppers, will also be available.

Why This Could Be the Best UT Football Season Ever

🥃 Cosmic Saltillo, 1300 E. 4th St.

Cosmic Saltillo, which just opened a tree house on site for game days, offers free shots when the Longhorns score a touchdown.

🏊 Commodore Perry Estate, 4100 Red River St.

Looking for a fancier game day experience? Commodore Perry Estate is hosting watch parties inside the mansion, special game day menus, pool fun, and pop-up experiences.

🥨 Scholz Garten, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd.

Watch parties at Scholz Garten start every game day at 10 a.m. and include live music, and drink and food specials.

🍕 Central Machine Works, 4824 E. Cesar Chavez St.

This East Austin bar is offering up burnt orange Jell-O shots, $15 beer pitchers, pizza, wings, and more on game days. Games will be streamed inside with full sound.
