Where To Watch the 2025 Super Bowl in Austin, and What To Eat

The City Cast Austin team has decided to go all in on the Super Bowl. We’ve got recipes, including cherished family favorites and award-winning concoctions, and a list of the best watch parties in town. Let’s not waste any more time!

🍗 Cheesesteaks and Wings at Kinda Tropical

Kinda Tropical, 3501 E. Seventh St., is serving up Philly cheesesteaks with curly fries ($16) and chicken wings with Kansas City style barbecue sauce ($12). The bar opens at 11 a.m.

🤠 Nachos, Line Dancing, and Yoga at Central Machine Works

Super Bowl Sunday at Central Machine Works, 4824 E. Cesar Chavez St., is hosting free yoga at 10 a.m. and free line dancing lessons at noon. Menu specials include $10 nachos, 10 wings for $10, $20 pitchers of draft beer, and big, $20 bowls of Palomas.

🍻 $16 pitchers at Doc’s Backyard

Doc’s Backyard, 5207 Brodie Lane, has all the specials: $4 drafts, $16 pitches, $6 Austin Eastcider blood orange mimosas, and to-go specials. If you don’t feel like cooking, pick up 30 wings and a half-gallon of margaritas for $59.

🦉 Extended Hours at Blue Owl Brewing

Blue Owl Brewing, 2400 E. Cesar Chavez St., will be open until 10 p.m., two hours past normal, for the Super Bowl. Mini corn dogs, cheese boards, cornhole, and extra seating will all be available.

Blue Owl should consider adding our cheese dip to the menu.

🫨 Franklin Barbecue Wings at Uptown Sports Club

Uptown Sports Club, 1200 East Sixth St., is serving up an elevated version of their “sports bar” menu on Sunday, including: Fried chicken sandwiches, wings doused in Franklin Barbecue sauce, and chopped Franklin Barbecue brisket fries. The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m.
