New Year’s Eve is right around the corner and you’ve got many, many options for ringing in 2026. Here’s a few of our favorites:

🎆 Get Your Fireworks Fix at Auditorium Shores

The city is once again putting on its free, annual New Year’s Eve event at Auditorium Shores. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the event includes food and beverage vendors and live music from four bands, including Chaparelle and The Head and the Heart. Fireworks start at midnight!

🎶 Go Old School at Hotel San José

Hotel San José on South Congress Avenue is hosting Mi Casa Es Su Casa, which is described as a "nostalgic house party." The event is free to attend and includes music by LA-based DJ Free.

🧜 Dive Into Another World at Justine’s Brasserie

Justine’s Brasserie in East Austin is hosting a New Year’s Eve event called L’Atlantis. The night is described as, “a one-night-only surrealist world.”. Tickets start at $175.26 and include entry, music, a photobooth, midnight champagne, cake, and a late-night snack.

💿 Finish 2025 With Austin’s Favorite DJ

DJ Mel will be performing at ACL Live at 3TEN on New Year’s Eve. Hip hop, R&B, reggae, and dance music will be featured and Home Slice Pizza will be available. Tickets are $36.82.

😆 Have a Laugh at Esther’s Follies

If big, drunken crowds aren’t your thing, why not send 2025 off with a comedy show? Esther’s Follies on Sixth Street will do two performances on New Year’s Eve that highlight all the craziness we experienced this year. Tickets start at $60 and include a champagne toast.
