  • Ballet Afrique will perform “Duke Ellington’s The Nutcracker Suite” on Dec. 15 at Paramount Theatre. Mother Ginger will be played by local singer Tameka Jones. Tickets start at $52.17.

🍿 Watch a Holiday Movie

Paramount Theatre is showing a number of holiday movies throughout December. Classics like “White Christmas,” “Die Hard,” and “Little Women” will be screened, among others, and tickets are $15.

🎥 Experience ‘Home Alone’

If the holidays just means it’s time to watch “Home Alone” to you, you’re in luck. Macauley Culkin will be at Bass Concert Hall on Nov. 29 for a Q&A and screening celebrating the movie’s 35th anniversary. Tickets start at $58.20.
