Spooky season is quickly approaching its peak – Halloween is less than a week away and if you haven’t figured out your costume, there’s still time.

While Austin no longer has the almighty Lucy in Disguise with Diamonds costume shop to service our Halloween needs, you can still find something unique and fun at any of the following spots:

🦸‍♀️ Coco Coquette, 2109 East Cesar Chavez St.

Start at Coco Coquette if you’re looking for a fabulous wig. Whether you’re looking for blue hair, curly hair, that kind of hair old, british judges would wear, Elvis hair, or rainbow hair, Coco Coquette has all it all. The shop also has fun tights, tiaras and crowns, and makeup.

🧚 Hagood Headdresses and Costumes, 1103 Richardine Ave.

Perhaps you need a magnificent headdress to make your Halloween costume perfect. Head to Hagood Headdresses and Costumes. The shop also has corsets, wings, wigs, hats, cloaks, crowns, helmets, hats, feathers, and lots of bling to peruse. I’ve been ogling the headdresses available on the shop’s Etsy site.

🛍️ Any Vintage Store in Austin

I don’t have to tell you that Austin is chock full of great vintage stores carrying dresses, blouses, pants, and more from every decade. If you’re looking for something special, try:
