The second weekend of Austin City Limits Music Festival is here! Are y’all ready to do it all again?

We can’t let you head out to Zilker Park without some tips we acquired during Weekend One. So let’s get to it:

🌮 Eat Outside the Festival

The food at ACL Fest, while delicious, was a bit of a headache during the first weekend. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the lines or the many options, take advantage of the festival’s in-and-out policy. You can leave and re-enter the festival two times after your first entry. Pop over to Chuy’s on Barton Springs Road for air conditioning and cushioned seats with your creamy jalapeño dip. Lou’s is also conveniently on Barton Springs Road along with JuiceLand.

👱 Prepare for another Big Sabrina Carpenter Crowd

Festivalgoers last weekend were told they needed to take five steps back before Sabrina Carpenter took the American Express stage on Saturday. With roughly 75,000 people attending the festival each day, it’s good to be smart while you’re at Zilker Park. Don’t crowd your neighbors when you’re in a big audience, take your time leaving big sets, and have patience!

🤘 You Don’t Have To Miss TX v. OU

The Big Tent always airs the Red River Rivalry football game between The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Oklahoma on the second Saturday of the festival. The Big Tent is located on the western end of the festival grounds. You should definitely nab a spot early – the tent tends to fill up with a sea of burnt orange. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.
