Happy January! It’s the month of resolutions, cold weather, celebrations, and more. Here’s what to know about the month:

🍻 Need a Resolution? Try Dry January.

Whether you’re into making resolutions or not, you’ll be hearing about Dry January this month. The trend is when people abstain from alcohol during the first month of the year. Austin bars have plenty of mocktail options to try, and is also home to the country’s first nonalcoholic bar!

🍜 It’s National Soup Month.

As if we needed a reason to eat soup! January is National Soup Month. It’s the perfect time to stand in line at Ramen Tatsu-Ya for a warm bowl of their sho-yu ramen or to stop in at Julie’s Noodles in North Austin for a bowl of chicken rice noodle soup. We’ll be making a reservation at Soupleaf Hot Pot if you need us!
