I somehow do not have a recent photo of me and my dad! So y’all are getting this cute baby picture. 🥰 (Kelsey Bradshaw/City Cast Austin)

Father's Day is right around the corner on June 15, and I’m here to help, if you haven’t gotten started on plans to celebrate the dad in your life! (Please feel free to skip this article if you don’t celebrate or if the holiday is a painful one for you.)

Check out these Father’s Day events if you need something to do:

🚙 Take Dad to a Car Show

Stereotypes have us believing all dads are obsessed with cars. If yours actually is, head to Vista Brewing in Driftwood on June 14 at noon for a car show, food, and beer. The show is free to attend.

😆 Do Dad Jokes

The Brewtorium Brewery & Kitchen, 6015 Dillard Circle, is hosting perhaps the best event ever? On June 14, the brewery’s 6th Annual Dad Jokes Competition will take place starting at 2 p.m. You can compete or just listen to what’s sure to be a lot of lame jokes! (Did someone say it smells like updog in here?)
