Fall is coming, y’all, and with it a new season of 10 Broadway shows in Austin at Bass Concert Hall!
Here’s what you need to know:

Tickets are already on sale, starting at $35, for the first two shows of the new season: “Kimberly Akimbo” and “The Outsiders.” You can also buy ticket packages – Six-show deals start at $255, seven shows start at $285, and eight shows start at $320.

Sept. 30- Oct. 5: “Kimberly Akimbo”
“Kimberly Akimbo” won the Tony award for Best Musical in 2023 and features a teenage girl with a condition that rapidly ages her. The show follows her life as she turns into an old woman.
Oct. 21-26: “The Outsiders”
Based on the book of the same name, “The Outsiders” follows Ponyboy Curtis and his best friend Johnny Cade as they duke it out with affluent rivals in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1967. The show won the 2024 Tony award for Best Musical.
Dec. 4-14: “Beauty and the Beast”
If you don’t know “Beauty and the Beast,” where have you been? This show is a Disney classic, following the story of Belle as she falls in love with a man trapped in the body of a beast.
Jan. 20-25: “Six”
Ever wondered what the six wives of Henry VIII were like? “Six” tells the stories of their lives and won the Tony award for Best Original Score in 2022.
Feb. 3-8: “The Sound of Music”
Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Julie Andrews-led movie, “The Sound of Music,” with the musical. The musical focuses on the von Trapp family in Austria ahead of World War II.
Feb. 20-22: “Hadestown”
Visit the underworld with “Hadestown.” The show, which won the 2019 Tony award for Best Musical, tells the stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, and King Hades and his wife Persephone.
March 10-15: “The Great Gatsby”
“The Great Gatsby” is based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel of the same name, following the lives of Nick Carraway, Jay Gatsby, and Tom and Daisy Buchanan during the 1920s.
April 14-19: “Mamma Mia!”
Enjoy a night of ABBA songs with “Mamma Mia!” The show depicts a bride as she tries to find her father on a Greek island.
May 12-17: “The Wiz”
“The Wiz,” which premiered on Broadway in 1975 and took home the Tony award for Best Musical that same year, is the telling of “The Wizard of Oz” through a gospel, soul, rock, and funk lens.
July 14-19: “& Juliet”
“& Juliet” gives audiences an alternate ending to William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet: What if Juliet didn’t die?
