The Best Hotel Pool Passes for Summer in Austin

Listen, we get it! Sometimes you don’t want to fight for a parking spot at Barton Springs Pool. Lounging around at a pool is a great way to take a dip without stress. Many hotels in Austin offer up daily pool passes. Here’s some of our favorites:

🏊 W Austin, 200 Lavaca St.

A day pass for W Austin’s pool is $35 for adults and $20 for kids. The pass includes access from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, lounge chairs, poolside food and drinks available for purchase, towels, WiFi, and 10% off a 60-minute or 90-minute spa treatment Monday through Thursday. Make your reservation online.

👙 South Congress Hotel, 1603 South Congress Ave.

South Congress Hotel’s rooftop pool will be open every day starting in June. The pool is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pool bar, featuring drinks and snacks from Café No Sé, runs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Passes are $40 for adults and $15 for kids. Reservations can be made online.

🩲 Austin Motel, 1220 South Congress Ave.

This may be the most iconic of the options. Austin Motel’s pool is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Passes start at $25 Monday through Thursday and go up to $50 Friday through Sunday. Go get yourself a poolside cocktail! Reservations can be made online.

Your Guide to June 2025 in Austin

🥽 Carpenter Hotel, 400 Josephine St.

You can sneak away to the pool at Carpenter Hotel daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with $40 passes for adults and $25 for kids. If you plan on visiting Carpenter Hotel a lot this summer, consider buying one of their swim passes. Food and drinks are available, too. Make your reservation online.

🩱 Fairmont Austin, 101 Red River St.

Fairmont Austin’s pool is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and costs $45 for adults and $35 for children. Pool passes come with complimentary self-parking, WiFi, and sunscreen. Reservations can be made online.
