Austin City Limits Music Festival is here! Before you head out to Zilker Park, here’s what you need to know:
🕶️ Who To See
🎤 On Friday, we recommend Tanner Adell at 3:10 p.m., Leon Bridges at 6:30 p.m. Fletcher at 7:30 p.m., and blink-182 at 8:10 p.m.
🧑🎤 On Saturday, we recommend Khruangbin at 6:20 p.m., Jungle at 7:10 p.m., Reneé Rapp at 7:20 p.m., and Dua Lipa at 8:20 p.m.
😎 On Sunday, we recommend Chief Cleopatra at 12:30 p.m., Misterwives at 2:25 p.m., Orville Peck at 4:25 p.m., Chappell Roan at 6:45 p.m., and Tyler, The Creator at 8:45 p.m.
👛 What To Bring
You can bring a bag to ACL, but some rules apply. Here’s what to put in your bag:
🥤 Bring an empty water bottle or hydration pack to fill up at one of the festival’s many water stations.
🧴 Pack a small sunscreen bottle – it can’t be in an aerosol can and must be 3.4 ounces or less.
🧢 Take a hat for shade, and a bandana for a face covering to avoid all Zilker Park dust.
🍔 Where To Eat
ACL Fest is the best place to try local restaurants without having to wrangle a reservation. Here’s what we’re looking forward to eating:
🥧 Fingers crossed Tiny Pies is selling its key lime pie milkshake this year because it is the most refreshing sip during the festival.
🌭 Anytime we can catch Zee’s Wiener System when they pop up around town, it’s a huge win. Doesn’t a hot dog seem like a great festival snack?
🍖 Micklethwait Barbecue is a spot this writer has always wanted to try but has not managed to actually get out to. Enter: The ACL food court. Catch us trying whatever they’re serving up.
🌮 Give us all the taquitos at Discada!
🌯 Also, The Mighty Cone is back after a 22-month hiatus.
