Is April the busiest month in Austin? Writing out this list of fun things happening this month was tiring in itself! Truly so many events and festivals are in April, and we’ve organized them for you so you don’t miss out:

🪁ABC Kite Fest, April 5 at Zilker Park

Celebrate the 97th year of one of Austin’s best events this weekend at ABC Kite Fest. You can watch dozens of kites fly in the air for free starting at 10 a.m.

🤠 Two Step Inn, April 5-6 in Georgetown

Tickets are still available for Two Step Inn, a country music festival in Georgetown this weekend featuring Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Sturgill Simpson and Lynrd Skynrd.

🏃 Statesman Cap10K, April 6 in Downtown Austin

The 48th annual Statesman Capitol 10,000 race is back this Sunday. You still have time to register – entrance fees start at $70. Even if you don’t feel like racing, get out there and cheer on the runners!

🪻 It’s Bluebonnet Season

April is peak bluebonnet season in Central Texas! Get out there and find a patch for your family photos.

What To Know About Moontower Comedy Festival

🎂 Eeyore’s Birthday Party, April 26 at Pease Park

The most Austin tradition of all is upon us: Eeyore’s Birthday Party. The party celebrates its 60th year later this month and celebrates free spirits. Come prepared for drum circles, face painting, costumes, vendors and more.

🎷 Austin Blues Festival, April 26-27 at Moody Amphitheater

Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, North Mississippi Allstars, Jimmie Vaughan, Gary Clark Jr., Jackie Venson, and Mavis Staples will all be here this month for Austin Blues Festival. Tickets are still available and start at $80.

🍺 Spring Market + Green Acres Hopfest, April 19 at Jester King Brewery

Shop from local artists while listening to live music at the first Spring Market + Green Acres Hopfest. Face painting, tie-dye, goats, glass blowing, and tattooing are all included in the fun!

⚾ Round Rock Express Games Start This Month

The first Round Rock Express home game of the season is tonight at Dell Diamond, marking one of many opportunities to enjoy baseball this year! We highly recommend going to a game on a $1 hot dog night. 👀
